As a Registered Nurse (RN) for over 30 years, I’ve dedicated my career to provide optimum care for my patients. My passion is to help our seniors receive excellent care and I love being part of this team! My extensive experience has allowed me to work in many different fields of medicine such as; medical-surgical, recovery room, IV therapy, outpatient clinic, oncology, hospital administration, and in-home care. AstraCare gives me the opportunity to integrate my years of experience to provide guidance, support, comfort, and care. I love the one on one, hands on approach and the opportunity to educate my patients and their families to ensure their wellbeing and safety. Being your nurse gives me great joy!
Sivan Diaz
Client Services Manager
Hi, I am Sivan and I am the Client Services Manager at AstraCare. My responsibility is to ensure that our clients are happy, and I am here to serve, whatever the need! I am the one to call if you need any assistance with care coordination, billing inquiries or just general questions. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Services from Florida State University. I started my career in social services working with adults with disabilities and transitioning into this field felt like a natural fit. I enjoy helping people in their day-to-day life and nothing makes me happier than seeing our clients enjoy their independence in their own homes with a nurturing caregiver! On a personal note, my own father has Parkinson’s disease and receives in-home care. I am so grateful the for the difference a good caregiver makes to all our lives and the comfort and peace of mind I have knowing that he is well cared for! I like to make each client and caregiver I work with feel that they are heard and cared for. AstraCare is a wonderful company to work for, we are a community and heart driven organization, and I am proud to be part of this team!

I’m deeply committed to ensuring quality care, and I focus on finding caregivers who will become cherished by our clients. My goal is for every client to feel safe and welcome, making AstraCare feel like a true family to them. I am continually inspired by the exceptional team we’ve built, where support and respect are fundamental to our success. Outside of work, my passion for Latin dancing brings me joy, and complements my professional life. Hi, I’m Diana. My position at Astracare is in Accounting and Administration. I am here to ensure that your billing is correct and that you are satisfied and confident that we are giving you the best care and working as your liaison with your long term insurance or directly with you. I have worked in accounting and customer service for the past 18 years and am now a part of the wonderful and caring team at AstraCare. I have an amazing husband and two talented young sons. It was my privilege to care for my father-in-law for the past 6 years, recently passing at the incredible age of 99 years. Having him in our home was one of the most rewarding and loving experiences I have had. It is without a doubt the most important and valuable aspect of senior care to have a loving, warm, attentive, nurturing care giver to assist with daily needs. It provides families with the peace of mind and comfort that is not only wanted but needed. I am so proud to be part of AstraCare knowing that they provide excellent care and service and are always here to not only meet but exceed your expectations.

My name is Gail Kowal, and I am a proud member of the AstraCare team, serving as the Administrative Coordinator. My role focuses on supporting our caregivers by overseeing the onboarding process from start to finish. With 40 years of experience in Accounting, Business, and Long-Term Care Insurance, coupled with 8 years as a certified Home Health Aide, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a caring touch to my work.In my position, I am responsible for screening candidates and managing the recruitment and onboarding of new caregivers. Finding talented individuals who will provide exceptional care to our clients is deeply fulfilling to me, as I understand the importance of selecting caregivers who will be both professional and compassionate. Additionally, I handle all aspects of weekly billing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial processes.
Outside of work, I am dedicated to my family, with four children and six grandchildren whom I love to spoil. I am also active in my synagogue and enjoy painting, reading, writing, and music. My commitment to both my professional role and personal interests reflects my dedication to making a positive impact in every aspect of my life.
